OUR INCREDIBLE STAFF
Sandy Lauzon
Meet Sandy, dance instructor at Legacy Dance Studio. She has been dancing all her life. Instructed initially by her parents, grandparents and other relatives, she studied formal ballroom dancing at the Krylo Dance studio in Woonsocket RI, at the age of 10. Her dance career was further challenged studying with a variety of professional dance instructors in the Southern California area. Dance experience includes square dancing, round dancing, clog dancing, country western dancing, line dancing, Latin dancing, ballroom dancing and Ukrainian Folk dance. She enjoys instructing dance and the beginner dancers are her favorite. Dance passion is contagious!
Todd King
Todd King is a farrier, rancher, ex-bullrider, and sewing machine technician.
He began Country-Western dancing in 1992, eventually becoming proficient at most of the Country-Western dances of that time.
Fast-forward 24 years and he began studying ballroom dance. Upon taking formal lessons, Todd began to recognize the value of learning from a trained instructor, rather than other dancers, as he quickly found himself struggling to break muscle memory, in order to learn how to dance properly and smoothly.
Todd now enjoys working with youth and beginning dancers, to help them build confidence and comfort on the dance floor. As he often says, “If a cowboy like me can learn to dance, anybody can learn to dance!” During dance parties, you will often find him circulating amongst the ladies, trying to be sure that he dances with each one there, and always with a smile on his face.
Nolan King
Nolan started dancing several years ago, and his love for dance has allowed him to train under several of the top dance instructors in the United States. This experience made it natural for him to transition to teaching, because he thinks the only thing better than dancing itself is teaching others so they can share his passion. While he loves all styles of dance, his specialties are west coast swing, Latin dances, and historical dances.
Cassidy King
Cassidy fell in love with dancing at 15, after going to the local studio with her brother. She started going to as many classes as possible, enjoying her new-found hobby. Now she spends her days instructing at the studio, and choreographing dances for student showcases.
